Bushrangers
Heading for Tumut 23
December 1841 The Colonial Observer (Sydney) |
Three armed bushrangers are committing
depredations at Borrowa; they robbed Messrs.
Campbell and Haslingden's stations there, and
threatened to flog the Superintendent; they were last heard of robbing the
public House at Juggyong, apparently on their way
across to Tumut, or down the Murrumbidgee. Police parties from Yass and Goulburn
are on their track but we hear not as yet of any capture. |
