Bushrangers The Melbourne Argus 13

The bushrangers that robbed the mail beyond Albury, on the 23rd July,
were cuptured by the Wagga
Wagga Police, who are stationed at the Wadonga on the Murrumbidgee. Sergeant O'Niel
and his party from the Murray were close on their trucks, and within an
hour's ride of them when captured. The mail horses and some of their trappings have since been recovered
by the assistance and honesty of some shepherds of Mr. Heriot. |
