Charge Against Medico The Sydney
Morning Herald 20 April 1858
|
The celebrated Dr. Owen has made himself still more notorious by
making a savage attack on the editor of the Border Post (Mr. George Mott), in
striking him with a heavy-handled whip on the head. It arose from an article appearing in the paper reflecting on the
conduct of the medical men in Albury in not going to see an unfortunate
mail-driver who met with a severe accident the previous night by the
capsizing of the vehicle, about twenty miles from this, at Mullengandra, and who was then lying in a very dangerous
state. The matter will assume a charge brought against the Medico at the
police court. |
