Tragic Death. Link with Hamilton Hume. Sydney. September 10. Victoria
Lews, an elderly woman, left Yass on Friday for Cowra. She got out of the train at Goondah,
and afterwards commenced to walk back to Yass, following the railway line.
She was run down by the Albury mail train and killed. At
one time she was in the employ of Hamilton Hume, the explorer. |
