Death of Henry Hilton

Intelligence reached us yesterday morning of the death of Mr. Henry Hilton, an old resident of Tumut.

We were not aware that he had been ill, and the sudden news took us by surprise. Mr. Hilton for many years has been agent for this journal in Tumut, and during the whole of our associations with him we found him a talented man and a ripe scholar.

Mr. Hilton was greatly respected by those who had known him longest, and by no one perhaps more than ourselves. We tender sympathy and condolence to his widow and family.
