Mr. George Ibbotson sr. of Newtown, Tumut, will reach his 90th
birthday on November 5 (Centenary Week). He is the oldest resident of the district, having come to Tumut when
he was very young. Dr. Clouston, who is the compiler of the 'History of Tumut Souvenir,' has
obtained much of his information for the publication from Mr. Ibbotson. |
