Gold Delayed by Flooded Creeks Empire, Sydney 1 June 1852 |
Arrival of Gold. The amount of Gold brought down by the armed Escort yesterday from the
Southern diggings (Braidwood, Goulburn, Majors Creek, and Bell's Creek. Ed),
and deposited at the Treasury, is comparatively, small, owing no doubt to the
flooded state of the creeks after the late extensive rains. |
