His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint the Chief
Constables at the places specified in connexion
with their respective names to be Inspectors of Distilleries under the
provisions of the Act of the Governor and Council, 3rd Victoria, No. 9,
instituted "An Act to consolidate and amend the Laws for the
Distillation of Spirits in the Colony of New South Wales, and for the issue
of Licenses for distilling rectifying, and compounding Spirits therein, and
for repealing certain Laws relating thereto", viz.:- .... Henry Hilton,
