Not Sufficient Evidence The Sydney Herald 20 May 1840 |
Three Aborogines, who had been committed by
Mr. Bingham for
slaughtering cattle, but against whom there was not sufficient evidence to carry
a conviction, were, on the suggestion of the Attorney General, recommended by
His Honor to be admitted to the Benevolent Asylum, till they could be
returned to their tribe in the district of Yass, they having been in custody
since last January. |
