Appin Court Room, 16th August, 1824. Whereas William Mealey, a prisoner of the
Crown, per ship Isabella, charged
with having committed two robberies, escaped from the custody of the
undersigned, on Sunday night last, taking his irons with him; - All constables, and others, are hereby required to use their utmost endeavours to apprehend the said William Mealey, and lodge him in safe custody, to be dealt with
according to Law. The said William Mealey is 5 feet 1.5 inches
high; hazle eyes; flaxen hair; fair ruddy
complexion; Government Servant to Mr. Hamilton Hume, Appin. |
