G. Brown. Tumut The Sydney Morning Herald 9 August 1895 |
The District Court only
lasted a quarter of an hour. At its conclusion Judge Forbes made feeling reference
to the late Mr. E. G. Brown, who had been his friend from boyhood. A number of old residents
have called a public meeting at the Council-chambers for Wednesday next, to
take steps to erect a public monument in the town to the memory of Mr. E. G. Brown.
