The New Tumut River Bridge

Tumut, Saturday. Operations on the new bridge across the Tumut River, in town, have been commenced.

Surprise exists that no provision has been made for a temporary bridge during the time the new one is being erected.

The slightest fresh in the river will cut off people on the eastern side from communication with town, except by boat.
