Tumut Railway
Extension Australian Town and Country Journal 17 June

For Federal Capital purposes, the engineer in charge of the Tumut
railway has received instructions to survey a line from the terminus through Bombowlee, Lacmalac, to the
Little River, and a site for a station is to be chosen somewhere hereabouts. The vicinity was inspected specially by the experts, as being considered
more suitable than the advocated land at Gadara. |
