Mr. William H. Hovell was indicted for an assault and battery on the person
of William Howe, Esq. a Justice of the Peace, and Magistrate for the
Territory of New South Wales, while in the exercise of his Magisterial
functions in the Courtroom at Minto. Guilty. Mr. Hovell was directed to pay a fine of £5 to the King, and be
discharged. |
